…Was born and raised in Texas, but her life has stretched far beyond its borders. As a teenager, she lived in Iran, and experience that opened her eyes to new cultures and perspectives, and planted the seeds of her deep appreciation for diversity, storytelling and human connection.

For over thirty-five years, Leora worked in customer service — a career that taught her the art of listening, empathy, and communication. Day after day she witnessed the power of words to bridge gaps, ease burdens, and connect people across differences. Those same lessons now echo through her writing, where she seeks to create that same bond with her readers.

A devoted mother of four sons, four beloved daughters-in-law, and twelve extraordinary grandchildren, Leora has always balanced family with her passion for words. Writing has been her quiet companion for most of her life — appearing in journals, letters, reflections, and private pieces — but only in the recent years has she chosen to share her voice publicly
